This is the sight that greeted us at the pub this evening. That is the River Loddon starting at the bench and extending way into the distance, across it's WIDTH. And I really fancied a pint too.
River Loddon (1)
The River Loddon is a tad full at the moment.
Cinema's Not Popular Today
I think the River Loddon wanted to go to the movies too. Here it's fill the cinema car park.
Too Slow (1)
Snooze you lose.
Mobile Home Has a Moat
They say your house is your castle. Now this guy's has a moat.
Too Slow (2)
Must have been a good film.
Loddon Bridge Roundabout (1)
This is normally quite a busy roundabout.
Loddon Bridge Roundabout (2)
It's quite deep in the middle.

This is Why You Buy a 4x4
There's always one. The car in the middle has been abandoned (why he even attempted, I don't know) but the 4x4 is heading straight through.
4x4 in Deep Water
I told you it was deep.
4x4 Deeper Still
Just as well this is a proper 4x4, and not one of the poncy 4x4s.
He's Made It.
Now let that be a leason to you. If you want a 4x4, you must buy a Land Rover. Puddles are no match for these things. I think he may have soggy feet though. If not, I'll be very impressed.
This is actually still here from the gas works. Quite fitting really.
Garden Centre (1)
Plants like water, but somehow I don't think they like this much water.
Garden Centre (2)
The building are at least a third under water.
Loddon Bridge Roundabout (4)
I never noticed there was that much of a camber on this roundabout.
Just Short of 39
39 whats? I couldn't tell you, but normally the River Loddon is now where near this high.
