The Ashes Urn
The urn that contains The Ashes that Australia and England play for every year. This urn NEVER leaves England, no matter who wins. (History)
The new stadium at the Vauxhall End.
The old Pavilion that houses the teams and the celebs.
England have a team building hug just before play gets underway for the day.
Everyone ready for the first ball of the day to be bowled.
We're playing cricket now.
Still playing cricket.
More cricket playing.
Notice how cheap the Aussies are.
Harry Potter Effect
Even cricket isn't safe from the effects of Harry Potter - this guy is sweeping the pitch using a broom that looks like it should be used to play Quiditch
We got to see the covers quite a few times in the course of the day.
News of The World
Not to be outdone, the News of The World thought it would be a good idea to advertise the football section of their paper over the cricket ground.
New of the World Banner
Now you can see what's written on the banner.
This chap used to have a mundane task of walking on with his rubber mallet to knock in the stumps. Now he's a techy - it takes him 5 minutes to put in the stumps and hook them up to the microphone and camera.
Asda Trolley Boys Leaving
These are the grounds marshalls. They stand around the pitch whenever play gets interupted. They look like they should be collecting trolleys in the local Asda car park.
Ah, more cricket.

Asda Boys are Back
No more cricket for the day. The Aussies have taken the light and sent in the trolley boys.
